Flanged Ball Bearing Units

Flange-mount ball bearing units are used to accurately mount load supports when the mounting surface is perpendicular to the shaft axis. They consist of a housing that secures and positions a ball bearing. Flange-mount ball bearing units come in a diamond-shaped two-hole configuration, a circular three-hole configuration, and a square-shaped four-hole configuration that supports the highest radial loads.

Standard of Flanged ball bearing units

  • Flanged units to ISO standards
  • Flanged units to North American standards
  • Flanged units to Japanese Industrial Standards (JIS)

Materials of Flanged ball bearing units

  • Cast iron - suitable for most applications.
  • Composite - a lightweight and corrosion-resistant alternative to cast iron.
  • Pressed steel - for simple applications operating at limited loads and speeds
  • Stainless steel
  • Nickel
  • Thermoplastic
